Welcome to The Clipper

The Clipper is an Enterprise Inn located in the heart of Rotherhithe’s former historical shipyards and trade wharves, with a restaurant in which we serve home-cooked food and an attractive garden.  We also have a comfortable room for hire which can hold up to 40 people.

Just off the Thames Path and next door to an award-winning ecological park and woodland, The Clipper is opposite the Hilton Hotel and a short walk from the Surrey Docks City Farm. You can reach us by car, bus, ferry or river boat.

We are a quiet and relaxed place to visit during the week but  we also organize events most Friday and some Saturday nights, which include featured DJs, bands and artists, themed events and karaoke nights.  We even have a Wednesday night darts team! See our Events page for more information.

Amongst our clientele are visitors exploring the area and local residents who enjoy the relaxed atmosphere, the good food and our well attended events. 

Children are welcome but must not approach the bar.  Dogs are welcome if on leads.
